This study examined the application of data analytics to cardiovascular drug-utilization patterns using real-world pharmaceutical sales data. Although cardiovascular medicine sales records are widely used for commercial monitoring, they are rarely transformed into empirical evidence to support healthcare and pharmaceutical decision-making. The study aimed to identify major cardiovascular therapeutic-class utilization patterns and examine the effects of sales volume, prescription demand, affordability, market availability, physician prescribing behavior, therapeutic class, and data-analytics capability on cardiovascular drug utilization. A quantitative, cross-sectional, case-based research design was adopted using a selected pharmaceutical enterprise and market case. Primary survey data were collected from 236 respondents, including pharmacists, pharmaceutical sales representatives, pharmacy managers, physicians, healthcare professionals, and pharmaceutical data officers. In addition, 18,420 cardiovascular drug-sales transaction records representing 126,800 units and BDT 18,760,000 in total sales revenue were analyzed.
