ENZYMATIC ACTIVITY TRENDS IN THE CULTURE OF SYRIAN HAMSTER ADHESIVE LEUKOCYTES INFECTED EX VIVO WITH SARS-COV-2 / OMICRON

In the primary culture of adhesive leukocytes isolated from the blood of a Syrian ham-ster (Mesocricetus auratus) and infected ex vivo with the SARS-CoV-2 / Omicron strain in two differ-ent doses, the dynamics of enzyme activity in the dynamics of infection development was deter-mined. The patterns discovered during the study have a dose-dependent nature of cell activation. A decrease in the enzymatic activity of infected cells indicates a decrease in the microbicide potential of innate immune cells in COVID-19. This is another confirmation of the dysfunction of the immune system in the process of SARS-CoV-2 infection.
