The presentation of complex treatment plans in dentistry requires a multidimensional approach. This involves not only advanced clinical skills, but also a solid ethical framework, clear, structured and ethically grounded communication between the doctor and the patient. In a context where therapeutic decisions involve extended duration, considerable costs and a high degree of interdisciplinary involvement, it is essential that the interaction with the patient respects deontological principles and supports his autonomy. This article analyzes the essential ethical and communicative aspects in the formulation, presentation and support of such therapeutic plans, with a focus on the doctor's responsibility in ensuring authentic informed consent and a therapeutic relationship based on trust, transparency, respect and empathy.
