Charvi Joshi, Mohammed Ismail Iqbal · Applied Energy & Artificial Intelligence · 2025

This article explores the advancement of Renewable Green Energy with the integration of Artificial Intelligence. It analyses how the implementation of AI technologies to boost efficiency in monitoring, generating, storing, and distributing energy generated through the mode of green energies. The objectives of this article is to study the opportunities and limitations of green energy simultaneously exploring the limitations, and to analyze the role of AI in order to overcome certain limitations present in renewable energies. This article explores all the different methods of generating clean, sustainable, and renewable energy and the challenges they are currently facing in terms of poor infrastructure, low manpower, cost and risk efficiency, lack of investments, and policy support. Relying on limited resources to meet the ever-growing energy demands will not only harm the environment but also leave society powerless; hence, alternative approaches to generating electricity that meet current and future energy demands while preserving the environment are a necessity. Overall, AI has opened new doors in unlocking the potential these green energies pose for a sustainable future.
