Artificial Intelligence For Personalized Feedback In Mathematics Learning

, Maxmudova Dilnoza Xaytmirzaevna · European International Journal of Pedagogics · 2025

This article investigates the role of artificial intelligence in providing personalized feedback within mathematics education. AI-based systems are shown to support learners by delivering immediate, adaptive, and individualized guidance, which strengthens conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and self-regulated learning. These tools also assist teachers by automating assessment tasks and offering analytics that inform instructional decisions. At the same time, challenges such as equity of access, teacher preparedness, algorithmic transparency, and ethical concerns remain significant. The study concludes that AI-driven feedback should be integrated as a complementary resource that enhances, rather than replaces, traditional pedagogy, requiring careful design, professional support, and responsible governance.
