Papillary Thyroid Cancer Radiology: Pathology Case

14 years old previously medically free. presented with history of progressive neck welling for couple of months prior to presentation. denied compressive symptoms, no personal history of head or neck irradiation, negative family history. Diagnostic Hypothesis CT : The left thyroid lobe shows a lobulated mass with heterogeneous enhancement . It is well defined and do not show signs for invasion to the surrounding structures, however, there is a mass effect exerted over the trachea and esophagus, causing a deviation to the right side. Multiple enlarged and heterogenous lymph nodes are seen at mid and lower jugular ( III and IVa) level. Most likely diagnosis based on clinical history and physical examination is goiter , after investigation was done including the radiological imagine , our case refuse the diagnostic hypothesis and malignancy is expected
