Nanotechnology has emerged as a transformative field with significant impact across energy, healthcare, electronics, and environmental sustainability. Recent advances in synthesis techniques?such as chemical vapor deposition, sol?gel processing, hydrothermal methods, and green synthesis?have enabled precise control over particle size, shape, and surface functionality. Parallel progress in characterization tools, including electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and spectroscopic methods, has improved understanding of nanomaterials at the atomic and molecular levels. These developments have expanded applications in drug delivery, diagnostics, catalysis, renewable energy, sensors, and water purification. Despite these achievements, challenges remain in scalability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental safety, highlighting the need for continued research toward sustainable and application-oriented nanotechnology.
