This research paper provides a comprehensive investigation into the intricate socio-technical relationship between artificial intelligence integration and the holistic well-being of the contemporary workforce. Grounded in the foundational job demands-resources model established by Demerouti, Bakker, Nachreiner, and Schaufeli (2001), the study analyzes quantitative data from a sample of 150 professionals situated within the information technology and corporate services sectors to evaluate the prevailing paradox between operational efficiency and psychological integrity. The empirical findings indicate that while artificial intelligence serves as a significant resource for workload reduction, facilitating gains of up to fifty-five percent in specialized roles, it simultaneously acts as a potent stressor that contributes to a mean burnout level of 6.15 on a 10-point scale. A critical threshold was identified in the daily usage data where engagement exceeding six hours correlates with a significant escalation in technostress and digital fatigue, validating the concerns raised by Niehaus, Hartwig, Rosen, and Wischniewski (2022) regarding the loss of human agency and the erosion of cogni
