This paper, entitled “Integrated Modeling and Simulation of Energy Systems for Smart Buildings”, aims to obtain relevant results regarding energy consumption in a smart building and compare them with those of a less intelligent building with the same functional regime. A comparative analysis of different building models highlights the impact of each smart transformation measure. Using DesignBuilder simulations, the study confirms the efficiency of intelligent control solutions for building energy systems. The results provide practical value for optimizing energy consumption, reducing costs, and supporting sustainable design decisions.
