New lubricating compositions for motor oil M-14ГБ (SAE 40 API CD) were created based on distillate oil M-10, obtained from a mixture of Azerbaijani oils, and additives of various functional effects – detergent-dispersant additives (IHP-101 and AKİ-130), detergent-dispersant – (C-250), antioxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-wear additives (DF-11 and A-22), viscous Viscoplex-2-670 and depressant Viscoplex-5-309. The viscosity-temperature properties of the base oil were provided by the viscosity additive Viscoplex-2-670, selected by comparative studies of a number of viscosity additives of the Evonik polymethacrylate type. The physicochemical and operational properties of new lubricant compositions of M-14ГБ engine oil were studied and, according to the results of the studies, it was found that they exceed the GOST 12337-84 requirements for this oil.
