Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence – Selected Issues

The authors discuss selected legal problems related to intellectual property and artificial intelligence, mostly the principle of a territorialism of intellectual property. The need to reformulate the conflict-of-law rules for intellectual property was identified as the most urgent legislative task. They end the article with a critical assessment of the Rome II Regulationconcerning the proper law for liability arising from infringement of intellectual property rights.
