The article describes the importance of compliance with drug safety requirements and the safe handling of medical devices in the departments of the oncology dispensary: accounting, issuance and control over expiration dates, compliance with the requirements and conditions for storing drugs and medical devices in accordance with orders and SOPs. Target. Improving the quality of medical care for patients in the Samara Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary (SRCOD). Results. An effective quality control system for medical care has been organized based on the recommendations of Roszdravnadzor. Conclusion. Nursing staff complies with all requirements for drug safety and the safe handling of medical devices. Oncology dispensary nurses know that they have no right to change the form of drugs and their packaging, combine drugs from different packages into one, replace and correct inscriptions on the label with a drug, store drugs without labels. By complying with these requirements, nurses minimize errors in drug therapy. One of the important points of drug safety is preventing expired drugs from being distributed to patients.
