The results of hip arthroplasty were analyzed in 98 patients with coxarthrosis. Attention is paid to the formation of hematoma in the postoperative period. Clinically significant hematomas were detected in 10.2 % of cases. An attempt was made to explain the causes of hematoma formation. An algorithm for the treatment of patients with identified hematomas is presented.
