The article examines the political and administrative aspects of improving the State mechanisms for ensuring cybersecurity in Ukraine based on international experience. A comparative analysis of approaches to cybersecurity in the United States of America, the European Union, and Ukraine was conducted. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the national regulatory framework, administrative structures and international cooperation in the field of cybersecurity. Based on this, specific recommendations are proposed to improve the effectiveness of Ukrainian cybersecurity mechanisms. Among the main measures are the harmonization of legislation with European standards, the creation of the National Cybersecurity Center and the implementation of the system of key performance indicators (KPI). The proposed recommendations will help strengthen Ukraine's cyber resilience and improve its interaction with international partners in the face of growing cyber threats.
