VIRTUAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORIES AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SCHOOL CHEMISTRY EXPERIMENTS

As part of this study, the role of the chemical experiment in the modern chemical education system was analyzed; particularly its functions within the framework of the concept "New Ukrainian School". The main tools for developing research skills in high school students were characterized in detail, and the importance of using appropriate didactic methods and effective management of the learning process was emphasized. These elements ensure a targeted search for explanations and justifications of patterns, relationships, and interdependencies between facts and processes. A series of experiments aimed at developing students' research abilities were proposed, and graphical representations of changes in research activity levels within the control group of students were provided. A criterion for assessing the level of interest in experimental work among students was presented. The idea that attentiveness and focus during chemistry lessons play a crucial role in fostering students' research activity was confirmed.
