FEDERAL MEAT INSPECTION AS A SAFEGUARD TO PUBLIC HEALTH

John R. Mohler · American Journal of Public Health · 1920

There is no Federal inspection for one-third of the meat consumed in this country. Cities plead lack of funds, and there is also lack of knowledge and lack of interest. Meat is too important a feature in our lives to be thus neglected.
