Trial running starts on London’s Elizabeth line prior to phased opening in 2022

Trial train running has started on the delayed £19 billion Elizabeth line in London, UK. Mark Wild, chief executive officer of client Crossrail Ltd, says the central section will start operating in the first half of 2022 followed by the rest of the line by the end of the year.
