Scotland provides increased public access to its iconic canal infrastructure

Scottish Canals’ first guided tours inside the Falkirk Wheel rotating boat lift axle were sold out earlier this year. Infrastructure director Richard Millar says such experiential visits to iconic infrastructure play a key role in attracting the next generation of civil engineers.
