BIM: construction needs to catch up with three-dimensional computer-aided design first

The perceived building information modelling (BIM) revolution in UK construction is actually just a long-overdue adoption of three-dimensional computer-aided design, says Robin de Jongh of GCA Consulting. Only when that is completed can BIM really take off.
