Briefing: Communications failures highlighted by professional conduct cases

Sole traders and small businesses involved in domestic projects continued to dominate the work of the Institution of Civil Engineers' professional conduct panel last year. Chairman Bob McGowan says most of the cases could have been avoided if members communicated more effectively with their clients.
