Background and objectives: Preeclampsia is a severe blood pressure condition that progresses during pregnancy. Pregnant women with preeclampsia often have high blood pressure (hypertension) and high levels of protein in their urine (proteinuria). Preeclampsia typically progresses after the 20th week of pregnancy. We would have assessed knowledge of them regarding preeclampsia and eclampsia, and found a difference between mean of sociodemographic characteristics and the level of nurse knowledge. Methods: A quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at Maternity Teaching Hospital and the study was conducted from 1st September 2021 to December 2022. The study sample size were 150 nurses who worked in this hospital. Data was collected through interviews (face-to-face) using a questionnaire designed by the investigator. The data was analysed by SPSS software for statistical analysis Version 25. Results: The majority (45.3%) of the participants were age between 30- 39 years old, and majority (81%) of the study participants were married.
