Nursing and Residential Care is now just over a year old. One of the signs of maturity for a journal is when it can truly claim to have established itself as an integral part of the population it seeks to serve. As part of our plans for the future, we have introduced what we hope will become an important part of the nursing and residential care sector calendar, our annual conference. The inaugural event has the title ‘towards partnership in care’ and is aimed at bringing together speakers of the highest calibre, on topics that have real and important bearing on our specialty. As part of the build up to the conference, to be held in London on the 27th and 28th November, we outline some of the main themes and invite your views.
