Using the updated Parkinson's NICE guidelines

Laura Cockram · British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing · 2017

In July 2017, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence published its updated guidelines on care and treatment for people with Parkinson's disease. This article outlines the changes in the updated guidelines, shares data from the UK Parkinson's audit that demonstrates the need for improved practice, and encourages nurses to get involved in the UK Parkinson's Excellence Network to raise the quality of care for people living with the condition.
