Making an intuitive decision: a neurophysiological perspective

It became apparent, while searching the literature, as part of a PhD study exploring decision-making maturation of child health students, that the empirical and naturalistic models fail to recognise the biological drivers underpinning our thought processes. This article offers insight into the complexities of neurophysiology, providing understanding of an overlooked yet essential component of the decision-making process.
