Caring for children at home after severe traumatic brain injury Neuro-paediatric nurses working in acute and rehabilitation settings may find helpful this report of a small qualitative study into the day-to-day strategies of parental caregiving in children who have had a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) defined as a GCS score of 3–8. It is a study carried out by occupational therapists in New Zealand.
