Throughout the summer, with most people taking some time away (myself included), it is often a quiet time for news relating to neurosciences and I am often concerned at this time of year that there will be nothing to inspire this month's editorial. Over recent weeks, however, the debate over physician-assisted suicide has been hotting-up significantly. This subject has been covered in a previous editorial, but the developments that have happened are so significant that I thought it was worth revisiting the issue.
