It's how you live that matters

Sheena McDonald · British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing · 2009

I have just enjoyed watching Olympic triple champion Sir Chris Hoy interviewing award-winning sports writer Richard Moore, at the most recent Turn the Tables fund-raising lunch organized by Cancer Research UK. Between courses, those people normally interviewed by forensic inquisitors—George Osborne, Charles Kennedy and gang—are given the chance to interrogate their sometime tormentors—Jeremy Paxman, Nick Robinson et al, for the amusement of the lunchers. The event always kicks off with the latest good news from the charity's spokesman about the treatment of cancer and increased recoveryrates, while a lot of money is raised and a good time is had by all.
