The struggle against Parkinson's disease

I am sure you will all have heard of Michael J Fox and also be aware that 10 years ago he was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's disease. Many people still think of Parkinson's as a disease that affects older people, but one in twenty of those diagnosed will be under the age of 40 years. This week his book, Always Looking Up, is published and this coincides with Parkinson's Awareness Week. The book chronicles the last decade of his life and struggle against the challenges posed by Parkinson's disease and shows how he has come to see these challenges as opportunities.
