The Northern Neurological Alliance (NNA) was launched on 6 October 2008. Alastair White, the Headway North-East regional coordinator a key member of the steering group, was instrumental in ensuring the success of the launch. He is now a member of the executive committee and ensures that brain injury has a profi le with regards to any developmental work the NNA undertakes.
