The Brain and Spine Foundation is a UK based charity that aims to improve the quality of life for people with neurological conditions. It was founded in 1992 by neurosurgeon Peter Hamlyn to redress what he and other health professionals saw as a grave imbalance in the resources available for tackling neurological disorders, compared to the resources available for cancer and heart patients.
