Continuing to argue for better care

I watched with interest the BBC drama at the end of February, which portrayed the plight of a family affected by traumatic brain injury. We know that these kinds of head injuries can cause devastation for both victims and families, and for many years neuroscience nurses have been closely involved in the care and rehabilitation of such patients. There have previously been TV documentaries about recovery from head injury, but, to my knowledge, this is the first dramatization of such a situation.
