Making headway after brain injury

Many people do not realize quite how devastating brain injury can be; the effects often stay with survivors for life. Brain injury challenges nearly every aspect of daily life–walking, talking, thinking and feeling. The losses can be multiple, severe and permanent. Not only does it mean loss of the life you once lived, but can also mean the loss of the person you once were.
