Conducting On-Line Focus Groups

This article presents a starting point for the development of a methodology for conducting on-line focus groups on a listserver. It addresses the mechanics of conducting a focus group with specific attention given to issues raised by the computer-mediated environment. Included throughout the discussion is extensive attention to ethical issues relating to focus groups and on-line research.
