Cyberspace, Perceptions of Self, and Small-Group Interactions

The emerging etherworld of on-line forums, digital shopping malls, and networked coffee klatches is a compelling technological innovation. This innovation raises questions of how the intangible nature of cyberspace will affect people's perceptions of themselves and their role in society as manifested in small-group interaction. Some initial indications of these effects are provided.
