Malignant Lymphoma Presenting in the Retroperitoneum

Twelve patients with untreated malignant lymphoma presenting in the retroperitoneum are reported. The mean age was 52 years. Pain and a palpable mass were the common symptoms. The high and intermediate grade non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma types comprised more than half of the observed histopathology. Three patients survived for more than 5 years.
