Cancer 1974: An Analytical Vademecum of Oncologic Relevance

One quarter of a century of largely observing and modestly participating in the development of present understanding of cancer is translated into an analysis of the emerging data, the relevance of which withstood time and led to a coherent concatenation of concepts with fruitful clinical applications. From the integration of the relevant data an incomplete synthesis was construed. The hiatus of incompleteness points to the where(s) and what(s) of future developments.
