This report describes the indications for our method of using chemotherapy for the patient with cancer of the breast. Adjuvant chemotherapy at the time of curative resection is still experimental. The effective methods for using systemic chemotherapy for the patient with disseminated disease are outlined. In addition, the arterial infusion of anticancer agents for the patient with regionally recurrent breast cancer is presented.
