The chromium, calcium and phosphorus fractionation distribution in tumor-bearing mice tissues war compared and related to in vitro observations of the interaction calcium compound-complexed chromium. Besides the fact that this interaction appears as the principal cause of in vivo chromium accumulation, it is possible that other interactions (as the one with nucleic acids, are responsible for variations in the fractionation pattern.
