ABSTRACT The escalating threat of climate change has prompted health professions, such as nursing, to reimagine the principles, scope, and commitments of their practice. This climate‐driven shift invites us to think of eco‐conscious nursing as an assemblage. This discussion paper employs assemblage thinking to explore how nursing assemblages (trans)form amid environmental and climate ruptures by examining the configurations of expressive and material elements that coalesce to shape nursing practice. This study unfolds in three parts: first, it discusses Nail's (2017) formal theory of assemblage based on Deleuzean‐Guattarian philosophy and contextualizes it within nursing practices; second, it maps the (re)configurations of nursing assemblages in response to environmental ruptures across time; and lastly, it explores how climate (in)justice is entangled in eco‐conscious nursing assemblages, specifically typhoon‐vigilant nursing in the Philippines. This paper demonstrates the potential of assemblage theory to illuminate the nuances of the nursing‐climate change nexus, informing local and broader initiatives for eco‐conscious, justice‐oriented nursing.
