It is through his tireless efforts that this meeting was a scientific and social success. Although this Journal cannot record the pleasures of personal contacts with one's colleagues and the making of new friends, it can serve as a forum for the presentation of the scientific program. Readers will note that the majority of manuscripts appearing in this Journal are footnoted as having been presented at The First International Conference of Veterinary Radiologists. Additional papers presented at this conference will appear in subsequent volumes.
