SUMMARYA case of chordoma arising in the thoracic spine of a 20‐year‐old man is presented. Plain film and magnetic resonance imaging findings are included. The case is unusual in that the neoplasm presented as dumb‐bell‐shaped extradural mass, traversing and expanding a thoracic neural foramen and thereby mimicking a neurogenic tumour.
