ABSTRACTA retrospective analysis of hip joint space measurement of patients who had previously sustained spinal cord damage was undertaken.This paper confirms previous findings that patients with flaccid paralysis in lower limbs develop hip joint space narrowing. It has been found that this phenomenon is far more frequent than previously reported and can be seen in a significant proportion of patients with lower limb spasticity.
