Diagnosis of Renal Mass Lesions

ABSTRACTThere has been a marked change in the diagnostic approach to renal mass lesions over the last decade with advances in the fields of ultrasound and computed tomography. The relative frequency of such masses, as outlined in our flow chart, helps in restricting the use of more invasive procedures to those cases where they are really necessary.
