An improved X‐Ray Service for large Hospitals

V. K. Clifton · Australasian Radiology · 1972

SummaryThe general inefficiency of large general hospitals is briefly discussed. The causes of a slow X‐ray services are listed and a method is described which enables one of these causes to be completely eliminated. It is considered that besides providing a system of “instant reporting” the system improves the standard of the work and increases the interest of the Radiologist. A corollary to the new system is that the faster X‐ray service leads to shortening of the average in‐patient stay in hospital.
