The new agents produce less urinary solute output, less diuresis, and higher urinary contrast concertrations. The sodium form produces higher urinary contrast concentration than the methy glucamine form.It is anticipated that the use of contras media with six and nine iodine atoms per molecule will produce a considerable advance in urography.
