SUMMARYThe somatic hazards of diagnostic radiation as at present employed would appear to be negligible and the genetic hazards insignificant.The hazards of public fear of diagnostic radiation would appear to be considerably greater.Reduction of annual genetic dose to a fraction of that estimated by the Adrian Committee should be possible.
