AbstractThis history page in the series “Leaders in MSK Radiology” is dedicated to the achievements of Swiss radiologist Hans Rudolf Schinz. He is considered the father of Swiss academic radiology but was also influential internationally. Schinz expanded radiologic science into the fields of epidemiology and the natural sciences. He also advanced radiology and medicine in general through his political activities.
