Image‐guided spinal injection for diagnosis and therapy

SummaryOver the past decade, major advances have been made in our ability to identify a putative cause of patients’ spinal pain using image‐guided injection techniques. These techniques might also provide a means of temporarily relieving patients’ pain and facilitating increased mobility. This article aims to review the rationale for and the techniques of the more commonly used spinal injection techniques.
