Retraction: “MicroRNA‐145 performs as a tumor suppressor in human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by targeting phospholipase C epsilon 1" , by Chun Tang, Jin‐Yuan He, Chao Yu, Pei‐Jie Wang, Shao‐Hong Huang, Hong‐Jie Zheng, Dong‐Qing Yan, Jun‐Hang Zhang, and Yun Li, J Cell Biochem . 2019; 10678‐10687: The above article, published online on January 16, 2019 in Wiley Online Library ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.28358 ) has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. The authors admit the use of an incorrect nucleotide sequence. Due to this error, the results presented are considered unreliable and to not sufficiently support the conclusions. The authors agree with the retraction.
