Retraction: “Platelet‐derived growth factor subunit B is required for tendon‐bone healing using bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells after rotator cuff repair in rats,” by Lin‐Liang Wang, Xue‐Feng Yin, Xiu‐Cheng Chu, Yong‐Bing Zhang, Xiao‐Nan Gong, J Cell Biochem . 2018; 8897‐8908: The above article, published online on 13 August 2018 in Wiley Online Library ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.27143 ) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
